Three wonderful challenges for you!

Happy Monday everyone! This post is taking care of three challenges.
My first project is for the now current Get Hippity with Ippity (GHWI) Challenge #13! This challenge is all about hearts.

The stamp sets I used were two of Ippity’s newest releases.

I tried to keep my project slightly masculine. I don’t do masculine very well. Of course, I used my Copics for the coloring, but first I stamped Wise Guy with Memento Black Tuxedo. The hearts were stamped with SU Crafter’s Bravo Burgundy and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then cut with my circle die and accented with Aged Mahogany DI and Crystal Stickles. I’ve used three Spellbinder’s dies for this project: large classic circles, floral doily motif, and bird flourishes. My designer paper is from First Edition Papers Love Letters collection.

My next project is for our Crafting by Designs (CBD) challenge, January Week 2 Color Challenge. I can also use this for our GHWI Challenge #13. The stamp that I used is a very new Ippity release, Sweet on You. This cupcake tower was designed by Unity Artista Tracey Malnofski.

I did use my Copics on “I’m sweet on you.” The Spellbinders dies are large ovals, scalloped ovals, and floral flourishes. The designer paper is BasicGrey’s Lauderdale collection. The inks are Memento in Tuxedo Black and Angel Pink. I also accented with Chipped Sapphire DI. The white dots are done with a Sharpie white paint pen.

I hope you join us for our GHWI “Heart” challenge and CBD “Color Case” challenge.

The last fun challenge is at The Crafter’s Café in the Get Hippity with Ippity group. Our “Card” game is still going on, but it does end January 31. Come check that out.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate asking. Thanks for stopping by and have a very creative week!

The First GHWI Challenge for 2012

Welcome to 2012! Are you ready for Get Hippity with Ippity’s first challenge for the new year?

This challenge is No. 12 and we are going to start out with a bang and a new sketch. This is the sketch we would like for you to use:

You can flip it, but we do need to see the sketch somewhere in your little piece of art. We want to see cards, ATCs, scrapbook layouts, altered, mixed-media, anything your little heart tells you to do. You are not required to use an Ippity or Unity set, but if you do, your entry will be counted twice. You are required to follow our little blog. If you use Ippity or Unity stamps, please leave a comment letting us know what set you used. Please read the rules before participating. Your prize is an Ippity stamp set, your choice, from my GHWI Sales Blog. Please have fun! This is the most important thing you can do.
My project that I just finished uses Ippity stamp set “Your Friendship.” This darling set was just released in December and has been very popular. I have colored with my Copics and have highlighted the birdie with a Sharpie paint pen. The birdie’s flower is accented with Glossy Accents. I then used the Spellbinder’s circle dies and highlighted with Distress Ink in Evergree Bough and Illuminate Smooch ink. The other dies I cut with is also Spellbinder’s Floral Doily Motifs. These die cuts were then painted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in Chandelier.

My cardstock is from Stampin’ Up!. Now my designer paper is to die for. What I used for my background pieces is from Trimcraft First Edition Collection in “New Leaf.” These pads have 64 pieces of paper and over half are glitter paper. They are just gorgeous!

Over at The Crafter’s Café, and in the GHWI group, we have started another “card” game for January. This is a month-long game, you can enter as many times as you want, but you do need to use Ippity or Unity stamps. Your prize for this game is your pick of a $6 stamp set from my GHWI Sales Blog. Come join the fun.

That’s it for now. I hope to see you over at our first 2012 GHWI Challenge.

Have a fantastic and creative week!
